Redefining Workspaces for the New [Ab]Normal

 

Long-term changes may be on the horizon in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Employers are accelerating their telework policies and considering how they can reduce workspace density to support social distancing and mitigate viral spread. Some commercial development projects are being delayed or canceled, while many existing spaces remain empty, as employers rethink new leases or delay returning employees to the office.
